Krista McGrath, owner of McGrathhas Interiors, has a passion for creating beautiful and functional spaces that reflect her clients’ lifestyles. From reimagining living rooms and kitchens to designing media spaces, outdoor retreats, and more, Krista brings expertise and vision to each project. By collaborating with builders, architects, and skilled tradespeople, she translates her clients needs into practical, imaginative designs that continually exceed expectations.

Educational Foundation in Design Excellence

Krista holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Interior Design from Drexel University, a credential that anchors her approach to creative and functional interiors.

A Journey in Design

Krista’s love for design began at a young age and evolved as she explored diverse art forms, eventually refining her skills in interior design. While pursuing her degree at Drexel University in Philadelphia, she gained hands-on experience with DK Architects in West Chester, where she designed the interiors of four local elementary school libraries in the local school district. Graduating at the top of her class, Krista advanced her career with positions at J.M. Walton’s, Roche Bobois, and Design Services, Ltd., before launching her own firm, McGrath Designs (now McGrath Interiors), in 1996. Today, Krista brings her unique approach to a select number of projects each year, guided by a commitment to quality and creativity.

Rooted in the Community

Krista is a West Chester native and lives with her family in her hometown, where she enjoys the balance of work and life in a vibrant, beautiful community. She has donated her time, skills and knowledge to various charities in the area over the years, and her connection to the area fuels her dedication and passion in crafting spaces that enhance the lives of those around her.
